Founded in 2002, by a local group of dedicated paddlers, the MWC is a non-profit club that offers whitewater paddlers:
- a welcoming community for all ages and abilities
- pool sessions during the winter months
- silly social events and an annual summer shin-dig paddling festival
- opportunities to network, carpool, and share gas station dinners
- a mighty voice in the province of Manitoba
Manitoba Whitewater Club Activities include:
- Pool Sessions - October through May
- Member clinics through Wavepaddling
- Shindig - Annual summer paddling festival (Mid June)
- Fall Paddle and BBQ - A change to come together and enjoy some great paddling, food and campfires before pool season (Mid September)
Note: The MWC club proper does not organize trips or take part in any instructional programs. All trips are casual and initiated by members.
